On November 6th, Tobias Leuthner and Sharon Mulé visited Long Prairie Gray Eagle Secondary school to participate in the Career Fair. This career fair is an annual organized by the Long Prairie Chamber of Commerce, it brings together postsecondary education and businesses from around the region for the benefit of the students at the school. Students participate in the fair by visiting each vendor, hearing about the business or school and then summarizing what they learned on a passport.
Long Prairie Gray Eagle Secondary School is a Get Ready partner. Currently, Jill Hanson the school's Family Consumer Sciences teacher is teaching the Get Ready Postsecondary Pathways Curriculum to all 7th and 8th grade students through the FCS program. While at the school, Sharon spent time with Ms. Hanson talking about the implementation of the curriculum. She also met with Jonathan Young, the schools counselor about the potential expansion of the Pathways Curriculum into 9th grade in the next year.
