Parent Advocates are dedicated to championing schools and the families they support -- engaging with parents through culturally relevant advocacy workshops, training them to utilize data to identify the needs of their students, and helping them to present possible solutions to school leadership. This process will ensure parents' voices are embedded in school decisions and that they play a proactive role in their child's academic success. The Parent Advocate is responsible for recruiting parents from our K-12 schools to participate in programming, facilitating weekly parent workshops, and establishing a collaborative learning community. This position reports to the Site Coordinator at the school.
